Cheryl K. Miller, 56, of Mount Joy and formerly of Meadowview Road, Manheim passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late J. Richard and Charlotte Grove Miller. She was the companion of Glenn Shearer of Mount Joy. Cheryl was a professional hairstylist and worked at several area beauty shops. She was also lead vocalist for the group “Hotwired” a cover band from Central PA. Recently, Cheryl worked at Tractor Supply, Mount Joy. She grew up on a farm and had a passion for horses. Cheryl taught her family how to ride horses and was active in 4H. Cheryl also enjoyed showing horses. She loved to spend time and travel with her family.
Surviving are four brothers, Robert Miller of Mount Joy, Kevin Miller of Manheim, Keith Miller Sr. of Saxton, Brian Miller of Manheim, four sisters, Carolyn Wohlfeil of Manheim, Darlene Buller of Mount Joy, Diane Miller of Elizabethtown, Beverly wife of Merle Miller of Tennessee and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Celebration of Life memorial service at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 27 East Main Street, Mount Joy on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 6:30 PM. (Please use the rear entrance of the church.) Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Wednesday evening from 5:30 PM until the time of service.
