Charles H. Stein, 77, of Lancaster passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Moravian Manor, Lititz. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late John B. and Lila Nicholson Stein. Charles retired as an English teacher at Conestoga Valley School District. He graduated from Gettysburg College in 1959 and from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1962. Charles was an accomplished organist and enjoyed playing at several churches in Lancaster. He also designed and made wedding gowns and specialty dresses. Charles loved to spend time with his family.
Surviving are two sons, Eric husband of Drinda Stein and Dale husband of Christine Stein both of Lancaster, a daughter, Leslie Stein of Lititz, eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a sister, Nancy wife of Thomas Dickenson of Bordentown, New Jersey.
