Charles E. Noll

Charles E. Noll, 87, of Rowenna, passed away peacefully on Thursday September 14, 2017 at the Mennonite Home, Lancaster. He was the husband of the late M. Alice (Reisinger) Noll who died in 2015. Born in Perry County, he was the son of the late Emmett and Sally E. (Light) Noll. Charles proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a mechanic for over 40 years at the former Wyeth Labs, Inc. of Marietta. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and bowling.

Surviving are five children, William husband of Cheryl Noll, Mount Joy, Patty wife of Donald Collier, Jr., Maytown, Richard Noll, Marietta, Vicky wife of John Hemperly, New Danville, Tammy Lee, Rheems; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a brother Leon husband of Judy Bierbower, Chambersburg.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy on Tuesday September 19, 2017 at 1:30 PM. Interment with military honors will be in Laurel Hill Memorial Garden, Columbia. There will be a public viewing on Tuesday at the funeral home from 12:30 PM until the time of the service.
