Cassandra M. Nelson-Love, 30, of Mount Joy, died peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Stephen V. and Emma (Pearson) Love. She was a former coordinator at ACORN of Lancaster. She was a graduate of Manheim Central High School and a graduate of Hiram G. Andrews Technical School in Johnstown, PA. She enjoyed knitting, church activities and spending time with her son. She will be lovingly missed by her companion Charles Kennedy of Mount Joy. She is survived by her son Julius Samir Kennedy at home; three sisters Jessika wife of James Keefer, Melody wife of Lenny Gibbs, and Ashley Thompson, all of Mount Joy; and two brothers Lydell and Kevin Love, both of Lancaster. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, PA on Thursday April 19, 2011 at 1 P.M. Interment will be in White Oak Church of the Brethren Cemetery. There will be a public viewing on Thursday at the Buch Funeral Home from 12 noon until the time of the service.
