Carl D. Miller, 68, of Manheim passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late David and Mary Wampler Miller and step-mother, Martha Reesor Miller of Manheim. He was the loving husband of Donna Coleman Miller and they would have celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary in May. Carl worked 48 years at Bomberger’s Store, Lititz. In his earlier years, he was a member of Chiques Church of the Brethren, Manheim. He was also a member of the Elstonville Motorcycle Club and Sportsmen Association. Carl volunteered for the Children’s Miracle Network. His interests included riding motorcycles, hunting and he loved to spend time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife and step-mother are three children, Lisa wife of Jay Dissinger of Hummelstown, Beth wife of Jason Peters of Sarasota, Florida, Steven Quenzer of Manheim; five grandchildren, Jaiden, Mason, Gavin, Brooklyn, Brody and two brothers, Marlin husband of Julie Miller of Elm and James husband of Sandy Miller of Ephrata. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Larry and Jay Miller.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and again on Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will be private.
