Brandon Wanzer, 26, of Manheim died peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Born in Ephrata, he was the son of Larry G. and Sandra Martin Wanzer of Manheim. Brandon worked for Steve Martin LLC in Marietta; previously he was employed in the warehouse for Clark Associates of Lancaster, and as an auto mechanic for the Manheim Auto Auction. Brandon attended Manheim Central High School, and Lincoln Technical School in Denver, Colorado, where he studied auto mechanics. He enjoyed working on his Honda CRX car, watching the Philadelphia Eagles, going to Teen Central-Manheim in his early years, and was on the Billiard League's Pool Doctors in Mount Joy. He also enjoyed going to the family cabin “R Dream” in Juniata County.
Surviving in addition to his parents, is a brother, Eric husband of Christine Wanzer of Manheim, a niece, Caitlyn Wanzer, a nephew, Dillon Wanzer, maternal grandparents, Charles and Joanne Martin of East Petersburg, and paternal grandmother, Mary Wanzer of Fivepointville. Preceding him in death is a paternal grandfather, Oliver Wanzer.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Voganville Union Cemetery, Earl Township. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM with additional viewing Thursday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
