Brandon N. Artman 24, of Manheim, a beloved husband, son, father, and brother, died on Sunday, October 29, 2017 following a seven-year courageous battle with opioid addiction. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Doran N. and Amy Matthews Artman of Manheim. Brandon was the loving husband of Erika S. Oettel Artman and they observed their second wedding anniversary in September of this year. Surviving in addition to his wife, and parents, is their son, Jace Neal Artman. Also surviving is a sister, Danielle wife of Harrison Weikel of Lititz, a nephew, Cash Weikel, paternal grandmother, Jane Artman of Hellam, maternal grandparents, Butch and Shirley Matthews of Morgantown, WV.
Brandon had a passion for cutting hair and was currently a student in Barber School. Brandon attended LCBC Manheim Campus and was involved with Celebrate Recovery, and Men’s Fraternity. He was a 2011 graduate of Manheim Central High School and played on the high school football team. His interests included fishing and all sports.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Brandon’s Celebration of Life Service at the Manheim Brethren In Christ Church, 54 North Penryn Road, Manheim, on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 6:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family at the Manheim Brethren In Christ Church on Thursday afternoon from 4:30 PM until the time of the service. The family asks that everyone that attends the service to please dress casual. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
