Bonnie Sue Kurtz

June 27, 1958 — July 8, 2018

Bonnie Sue Kurtz, 60, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Kurtz and Pamela Stephan Schaeffer. Bonnie worked as a Dietary Director for Elizabethtown Healthcare & Rehab Center and she previously worked for the Lancaster Country Club.

Surviving is a daughter, Kallista B. Mollatiere (formerly known as Kelly Kurtz) of Tennessee, five grandchildren and seven siblings, Deborah Nauman of Manheim, David (Shannon) Kurtz of Ephrata, Dale (Susan) Kurtz of Manheim, Stephanie Schaeffer of Manheim, Sharon (Terry) Wise of Denver, Charles (Cat) Schaeffer of Kentucky and Tammy (Travis) Carpenter of Manheim. She was preceded in death by a brother, Stoney Schaeffer and brother-in-law, Douglas Nauman.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Bonnie’s Celebration of Life service at Hempfield Church of the Brethren, corner of Stevens Street and Metzler Road, East Petersburg on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Bonnie’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
