Bonnie S. Ambler

Bonnie S. Ambler, 63, of North Penryn Road, Manheim, died Thursday, November 4, 2010 from Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (Cancer).

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Eugene F. and Kathryn V. Dohner Shelly of Manheim. Bonnie worked for Burle Industries Lancaster. She was the loving wife of Daniel Ambler and they observed their 43rd wedding anniversary in March of this year. She attended LCBC Church Manheim. Her interests included: flower gardening, four wheeling, and traveling to the mountains and shore areas. Bonnie was a loving grandmother, mother, daughter, and friend who was loved and cherished by all who knew her. Surviving in addition to her husband and parents is son, Bryan K. Ambler of Virginia Beach, VA., a daughter, Danielle R. wife of Bryan M. Ponta of Lititz, three grandchildren: Lorelai Ponta, Colene and Brandon Ambler, two brothers: Barry husband of Sandra Shelly of Manheim, Randy husband of Ramona Shelly of Lititz, and a sister, Kathy wife of Richard Keller of Lititz.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service at the LCBC Church (in Great Room # 116) at 2392 Mount Joy Road, Manheim, on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 3:00 PM. Enter in the North Auditorium Entrance in the rear of the church. The family wishes everyone to dress casually for the memorial service.
