Beverly K. Weit

Beverly “Jean” (Kuhn) Weit, 81, of Luther Acres, passed away at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center on November 28, 2015. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Florence E. (Shaub) Kuhn. Bev shared 59 wonderful years of marriage with her husband N. Kenneth Weit of Luther Acres.

She was a 1951 graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School and was a member of Jerusalem Church in Penryn. A loving mother and homemaker, she worked at Bill Bell’s Lititz Book Store and numerous other businesses in Lititz once her children were grown.
An avid reader and Phillies fan, Bev enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she will be lovingly missed by her sons, David, husband of Sylvia, Manheim; Scott, husband of Beverly, Lititz; grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas, Colby and Abigael Weit; and four step grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother, John “Jack” Kuhn.

Family and friends are invited on Friday, December 4th, to the Chapel of the Good Samaritan at Luther Acres, 600 E. Main St., Lititz, for a visitation from 1 to 2 p.m., with the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Ephrata.
