Beverly Anne Berrier, 67, of Manheim, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 6, 2014. Born in Paradise, she was the daughter of the late Bernard J. and Mildred Irene Lauffer Winters. She was the loving wife of Eugene B. Berrier and they celebrated twenty-two years of marriage in September of this year. Beverly was a Certified Nurse’s Aide working in several area nursing homes as well as private duty. Most recently, she was a greeter at Wal-Mart on Fruitville Pike, Lancaster. She graduated from Pequea Valley High School. Her interests included cooking, knitting, crocheting, ceramics and driving around looking at nature and wildlife. She loved to spend time with her family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two step-daughters, Teresa wife of Rick Lehman of Huntingdon, Jessica Kinser of Lancaster, a step-son, Eugene D. Berrier of Lewistown, two step grandchildren, Melinda and Eddie Ficks, one step great grandson, Benton, three brothers, Larry L. husband of Sharon Winters of Lancaster, Terry G. Winters of Landisburg, Gary G. husband of Anita Winters of New Holland, three sisters, Patsy A. Shaub of Lancaster, Kitty Lou wife of Lester Miller of Meadow Bridge, West Virginia, Sandra J. Winters of Ronks and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Dale Winters and two sisters, Janice A. Smyth and Eilaine Burns.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her graveside service at Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, 746 Lebanon Road, Manheim on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM. There will be a public viewing at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until time of graveside service.
