Betty Lou Walton

Betty Lou Walton, 68, of Elizabethtown and formerly of Mount Joy, died Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Lancaster General Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of the late Harry F. Walton who died in 1991. Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Alice (Coover) Fitzpatrick. Betty had worked for the former Lamberts Cleaning of Mount Joy. In her spare time she greatly enjoyed playing bingo. Surviving are two sisters, Mary wife of Ronald Heisey of Mount Joy, Dolly wife of Robert Gets of Hummelstown; a niece Brenda Kingsboro with whom she resided, and several other nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Heilig Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy, PA on Wednesday January 5, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be in Mount Joy Cemetery. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
