Betty K. Foard

Betty K. Foard, 100, of Towson, MD. died peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2019 in Lebanon, PA. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late William and Neilie Robertson Kriete. Betty was the wife of the late Charles M. Foard who died in 1980. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Towson. Betty was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the American Colonists, and the Colonial Dames of America. For over ten years Betty volunteered for the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Her interests included: sewing, gardening and reading.

Surviving is a son, Richard M. husband of Gene Foard of Atlanta, GA., a daughter, Anne F. wife of Van D. Adams of Lebanon, five grandchildren: Brittany, Kelly, Hunter, Cameron, Dakota, two great grandchildren: Nora, Ediz, and a sister, Jane Awalt of Maryland. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Adams, and a sister, Marjorie Pfieffer.

Memorial service for Betty will be held at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, PA., on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Visitation with family at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 1:30 PM till service time. Interment will be private.
