Betty Bair Biechler

February 10, 1920 — July 19, 2010

Betty Bair Biechler, 90, formerly of Lancaster passed away on Monday, July 19, 2010 at the Masonic Village Health Care Center, Elizabethtown. Born in Strasburg, she was the daughter of the late William and Erna Stauffer Bair. A homemaker, Betty was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Millersville. Her interests included, crocheting, playing pinochle and she loved to watch football.
Surviving are two daughters, Joyce B. King of Lancaster, Julie L. wife of Brian Harris of Hummelstown, a son, James W. husband of Kelly Biechler of Lititz; 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren; one brother, Robert husband of Janet Bair of Lancaster and a sister, Norma Getz of Tyrone. She was preceded in death by a son, John R. Biechler Jr., three brothers, Richard, Tedford and William Bair and two sisters, Edna Lowy and Nancy Weaver.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Grace Evangelical Congregational Church 22 Kready Avenue Millersville, PA on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster. Please omit flowers.
