Beatrice M. "Beatie" "Patsy" Hornberger

Beatrice M. “Beatie” “Patsy” Hornberger, 73, of Manheim passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle, Lancaster. Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maeanna Heberling Orendo. She was the loving wife of Clyde E. Hornberger and they celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in December. Beatie retired as a custodian at the Warwick Middle School, Lititz. She was a member of Elstonville Sportsman’s Association, Manheim. Her interests included painting, traveling, and riding horseback and motorcycles. She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter: Teresa, wife of Randall Rohrer of Mount Joy; three grandchildren: Dustin, Brandon, and Chelsea; two great-grandchildren: Kegan and Riley; and three sisters: Joann Beamesderfer, Georgine Orendo, and Julie Elliott. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Paul and Timothy Orendo.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in Mt. Hope Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township. Those desiring may send contributions in Beatie’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
