Beatrice B. Strickler, 96, formerly of Mount Joy, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Longwood Manor, Maytown. Born in Rapho Township, she was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Elsie Brown Strickler. Beatrice retired from Kinsey’s Outdoors, Mount Joy and the former Mount Joy Box Factory. She was one of the oldest Charter members of Calvary Bible Church, Mount Joy. She was also a member of the supper club. Her interests included Yahtzee, word search puzzles, Philadelphia Phillies and the Jersey shore.
Surviving are eight nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Strickler, two sisters, Helena Beamenderfer and Verna Chatterton and two nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Calvary Bible Church, 629 Union School Road, Mount Joy on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Henry Eberle Cemetery, Mount Joy. There will be a public viewing at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 West Main Street, Mount Joy on Thursday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and again at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
