Barry L. Laube, 71, of East Petersburg, died peacefully following a brief illness on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Lavern W. and Evelyn Todd Laube. Barry worked for over 42 years at Donnelly Printing Company, Lancaster. Following retirement he worked for Weis Markets Manheim Store from 2004 until his recent illness. Barry was the loving husband of Jane Lehman Laube and they observed their 52nd wedding anniversary in February of this year. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Manheim. Barry's interests included: hunting, NASCAR racing, and spending time at the family cabin in Perry County. Surviving in addition to his wife are four daughters: Kim Boyer of East Petersburg, Lorri wife of Ralph Nissley of Manheim, Karen wife of Dan Clark, Marie wife of Steve Durborow all of Mount Joy, two grandsons: Derrick Boyer, Kyle May, three step grandchildren: Nate Durborow, Brent Durborow, Lauren Cunjak, and one step great granddaughter, Delaney Bleecher. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at St. Paul's United Church of Christ 50 North Main Street, Manheim on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township. There will be a viewing at the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Sunday evening from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM with additional viewing at the church on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
