Barry W. Dissinger

Barry M. Dissinger, 68, of Millersburg, died peacefully, Sunday, October 1, 2023, at his residence.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Sherlock and Roselene (Jaco) Dissinger.  He was a tool & die maker at the former RCA Corp. of Lancaster  and was a self-employed contractor with Dissinger Contracting for 15 years. Barry had the unique ability to fix anything.  He was a champion dart thrower at the Shutter in Columbia, Hilltop Tavern, Ironville, American Legion, Mount Joy, Conoy Tavern, Bainbridge, Bainbridge Inn, and the Lancaster VFW.  He was also the pool league Captain & Champion for a few years at the Mount Joy American Legion post 185 APA League.  Barry also enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, and bowling.  He was also a proud supporter of the American Armed Services.

     Surviving is a companion of 27 years Sandra Landvater Eby, Millersburg; two brothers, Jeff Dissinger and companion Kathy Smith, Manheim, Keith husband of Barb Dissinger, Lancaster; two nephews Justice and Ryan; three nieces Hayley, Tessa, and Dakota; two stepchildren Crystal and Howie.

     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Barry’s Celebration of Life service at the Salunga Park, 65 Main St., Landisville, on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 12:00 noon – 6:00 pm
