Anna C. Vasilenko

Anna C. Vasilenko, 98, of Lancaster, and formerly of Garfield, N.J., died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, January 7, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Savockova Cahayla. A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Joseph Vasilenko. Anna loved to care for people and she showed that by cooking and caring for her family and friends. Her favorite hobby was gardening and would spend the whole day outside if she could.

Surviving are two daughters: Irene wife of Joseph Randazzo, Debra wife of Michael Sicotte, a daughter-in-law, Diana Vasilenko, seven grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. Preceding her in death was a son, Joseph Vasilenko Jr., five brothers, and three sisters.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Anna’s graveside service at St. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Cemetery, 127 Westminster Place, Saddle Brook, NJ on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 12:00 Noon.
