Anna B. Martin

Anna B. Martin, 75, of Manheim, died peacefully and went home to be with her Lord on Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Mennonite Home, Lancaster. Born in Rapho Township, she was the daughter of the late Levi N. and Anna Stauffer Brubaker. Anna was the loving wife of J. Mark Martin and they observed their 55th wedding anniversary in October of last year. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and worked alongside her husband at J. Mark Martin Auto Sales, Manheim. Anna attended the Ephrata Community Church. Her life-long passion was her family; and she cherished every opportunity to be part of family activities.

Surviving in addition to her husband, is a son, Mark A. husband of Marilyn Landis Martin of Manheim, and their children: Katilyn J. Martin wife of Philip Weaver, (and their son Owen Weaver); Joshua M. Martin, Kirsten J. Martin, Joseph H. Martin, Krystal A. Martin, Katrina S. Martin, Katurah R. Martin; a daughter, Kathy A. wife of Merle D. Horst of Manheim; and their children: Anna Marie Horst, Elijah D. Horst, and Levi M. Horst, and a brother, Harold husband of Virginia Brubaker of Rapho Township. Preceding Anna in death are three grandchildren: Jordan D. Martin, Kyle D. Martin, Joelyn M. Martin, one sister, Vera Frey and two brothers, Glenn and Raymond Brubaker.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Ephrata Community Church, 70 Clay School Road, Ephrata, on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township. There will be a viewing at the church on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM and also Thursday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
