Andrew O. Maines, 37, of Lancaster, died on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Evesham Township, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Robert Walter Maines and Betty Ann Heyworth Maines Moffatt, and the stepson of Andrew Moffatt of Lancaster. Andrew was the loving husband of Kimberly A. “Kim” Griffin Maines; and they would have observed their 15th wedding anniversary in October of this year. He was employed as an Executive Director for a personal care home in the Lancaster area. Andrew was a graduate of Lancaster Mennonite High School and received an Associates Degree following courses at Elizabethtown College, and University of Phoenix. He attended Lancaster Alliance Church, and was an active member of Lancaster Masonic Lodge 43 F & AM. Andrew enjoyed rooting for his favorite soccer team Manchester United. He was a caring husband and father, and loved watching his children play soccer.
Surviving in addition to his wife, and stepfather, is a daughter, Cozette Elizabeth Maines, two sons: Owens Ross Maines, Landry Griffin Maines all at home, two brothers: Charles husband of Ada Maines of Leola, Shaylair Maines of Lancaster, a sister, Courtney Maines of New Holland, and nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Andrew’s Memorial Service at the Lancaster Alliance Church, 210 Pitney Road, Lancaster, on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service at the church. Interment will be private in Zeltenreich Reformed Church Cemetery, New Holland.
