Andrew Lee Ober, 40, of Lititz, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at his residence. Born in Lancaster County, he was the son of Robert E. Ober and Elizabeth A. (Miller) Ober.
Andy was a graduate of Warwick High School, class of 1999 and Lancaster County Career and Technology Center where he obtained a Certificate in Machine Trades. He attended Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Andy’s interests included racing micro sprints at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway, remote control cars and riding his dirt bike and his Harley Davison motorcycle. He was very passionate about his SRT4 and Harley as they were his prize possessions. He worked as a machinist at FL Smidt, as an auto mechanic and in maintenance at DART Container.
He will be sadly missed by his significant other, Meredith Shimp, his parents, Bob & Betty, sisters, Kristi Ober, fiancée of George Swan, of Ridgeville, SC, Jennifer Brandt, girlfriend of Danny Furlow, of Manheim, a brother, Robert A. “Bob” Ober, of Manheim and three nieces, Kasey, Bristol and Carly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 20, 2021, from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the pavilion at the Elstonville Sportsman's Association, 3133 Pinch Road, Manheim. This will be a drop in event. Please come as your are. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, PA 17545 to help defray funeral expenses.
