Andrew “AJ” Rodriguez, 23, of Manheim, was welcomed into Heaven on Sunday, October 5, 2014. Born in Lancaster, he was the beloved son of Luis Jr. and Rebecca L. Knable Rodriguez of Manheim. AJ worked as a Medical Assistant for Pinnacle Health Hospital, Mechanicsburg. A veteran, he served in the United States Navy. AJ was a 2009 graduate of Manheim Central High School and attended Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Manheim. His interests included golfing and rooting for the University of Michigan football team.
Surviving in addition to his parents, is a brother, Colin P. Rodriguez at home, maternal great grandmother, Dorothy Kreider, maternal grandparents: Joseph and Roberta Knable all of Manheim, paternal grandparents, Luis Sr. and Maria Rodriguez of Puerto Rico, paternal aunts: Maria wife of Gregory Adams, of Palmyra, and Brenda Webber, of Palmyra.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend AJ’s service of Life Celebration and Remembrance at the Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, 48 Market Square, Manheim, on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 4:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday afternoon from 3:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be at held a later date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA with military honors.
