Amy Lynn Peck

Amy Lynn Peck, 20, of 4897 Elizabethtown Road, Manheim, died Sunday, July 4, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident in Mount Joy Township.

Born in Altoona, she was the daughter of Danny and Denise Detwiler Peck of Manheim. Amy was a fulltime student at York Technical Institute, Lancaster Campus, as a Criminal Justice Major, and worked part time as a correctional officer, at the Lebanon County Prison. She also worked part time for Hess Express Gasoline and Convenience Store Lebanon. She was a 2008 graduate and honor roll student at Manheim Central High School, where she participated as a Varsity Cheerleader. At the York Technical Institute she participated with the Soccer Team. Amys passion was her family and friends; she enjoyed family activities and helping her friends throughout her life. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her two-year-old nephew, Noah.


Surviving in addition to her parents, is a brother, Barry Templin Jr., a sister, Danaca Peck all of Manheim, maternal grandmother, Barbara Detwiler of Duncansville, paternal grandfather, Harry Peck of Petersburg, paternal grandmother, Olive Peck of Huntingdon, a half sister, two half brothers, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service from the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square Manheim, on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until the time of the service.
