Alma L. "Sis" Young

Alma L. “Sis” Young, 86, of Mount Joy and formerly of Manheim passed away at home on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Born in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd H. and Goldie Spencer Moore. She was the wife of the late C. Lee Young, William Findley and C. Richard Achey. Sis retired as a waitress for several restaurants in the Lancaster County area. She was a member of Hope Episcopal Church, Manheim. Her interests included baking, sewing and traveling.

Surviving are three daughters, Nancy L. wife of Carl Wesley of Mount Joy, Judy M. Findley of Mount Joy, Karan A. Young of Tennessee, five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and one great granddaughter soon to arrive, three brothers, Wayne Moore of Florida, Earl Moore of Lock Haven, Francis Reinhart of Montgomery and a sister, Patsy Haupt of Muncy. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janna B. Lehman, two grandsons, four brothers, Harvey, Stanley, Emory and Junior Moore and three sisters, Martha Jane Reinhart, Sylvia Floyd and Dorothy Hemphill.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service at Hope Episcopal Church, 2425 Mountain Road, Manheim on THURSDAY, JUNE 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service. Please omit flowers.
