Alice Irene Kestler

Alice Irene Kestler, 92, of Elizabethtown, formerly of S. Philadelphia, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at the Masonic Village Health Care Center, Elizabethtown. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Kestler who died in 2004. Born in Camden, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Marie (Keller) McCuen. Alice was a loving wife, devoted mother, and caring grandmother and great-grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with all of her family. She was past Worthy Matron of O.E.S. Corinthian Chapter # 13 of Philadelphia.

Surviving are two sons, Robert J. Kestler, Jr., Wayne A. Kestler (Diana), both of Philadelphia; two daughters Gail A. Labrosciano (Thomas) of Glenolden, Kathy D. Kestler of Norwood; three grandchildren Alison, Thomas, Jonathan; and two great-grandchildren Nathan & Alexis.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Carpenter Chapel (Patton Campus)(GPS 1244 Bainbridge Rd) at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA on Tuesday August 26, 2014 at 11 AM. Interment in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill PA will be at later date. There will be public viewing at the Carpenter Chapel on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Alice’s memory may be sent to the Masonic Tree of Life Fund, c/o Masonic Charities, Office of Gift Planning, 1 Masonic Dr., Elizabethtown PA 17022.
