A. Jeanette Martin, 88, of East Petersburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday January 8, 2018 at Pleasant View Retirement Community. Born in Lancaster Jeanette was the daughter of the late Samuel and Emily Arment Myer. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond L. Martin who passed away in 2008. Jeanette was a member of Hempfield Church of the Brethren where she served as a Deaconess and a Nursery attendant. She was employed by S. Clyde Weaver where she worked in the bakery for over 30 years. Jeanette loved to spend time with her family.
Surviving is a son, Ronald E. husband of Cynthia Graybill Martin, of Lititz, a daughter, Beverly wife of Jeffery L. Moyer, of Manheim, three grandchildren, Sonya wife of Jason Widders, Kyle husband of Kimberly Martin and Stephanie Moyer, six great- grandchildren, Chase, Tyler and Logan Widders, Caleb, Leah and Eli Martin, and a brother, Richard Myer of Pottstown. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Wesley Moyer and two brothers, Robert and Jay Myer.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend Jeanette’s memorial service at The Hempfield Church of the Brethren, corner of Stevens Street and Metzler Road, East Petersburg on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
