A. Arlene Neideigh, 92, of Mount Joy, and formerly of Elizabethtown, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, unexpectedly, Tuesday January 31, 2012, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Elizabethtown, she was the daughter of the late Ammon K. and Margie Brandt Boozer. She was the widow of the late Arthur W. Neideigh who died in 2005. Arlene worked in the quality control lab at M&M Mars, Inc. of Elizabethtown before retiring in 1982, and she had worked for the former Klein Chocolate Company. She was a graduate of the Elizabethtown High School, class of 1937. Arlene was a faithful member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown and for the past few years attended services at Hearthstone Manor where she was a resident. She was a member of the M&M Mars Breakfast Club and a former member of the Elizabethtown Senior Citizens. She was also a member and active swimmer at the Willowood Swim Club. She enjoyed crocheting and attending the Elizabethtown Fair, but her favorite was hosting family get-togethers, especially Christmas time. Surviving are 4 sons, Galen R. husband of Melvia D. Hippensteel Neideigh, Clair D. husband of Carol Dengler Neideigh both of Mount Joy, Dale E. husband of Judith Barth Neideigh of Kirkwood, Dennis L. husband of Mindy Barto Neideigh of Mount Joy; 2 daughters Peggy Lou wife of Dennis Grove of Mount Joy, Joyce E. wife of Dennis J. Drager of Marietta; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jay Marlin Boozer of Elizabethtown, Larry D. husband of Linda Shields Boozer; and a sister Cleo Faye Brubaker of Elizabethtown. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson Brian Stouch. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 398 N. Locust St. Elizabethtown, on Saturday February 4, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. Interment following the luncheon will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. There will be a public viewing at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service.
